Smallville fans will be happy to know that Allison Mack is listed on IMDb’s site as a rumored cast member of the fourth installment of Scream 4!
Scream 4, which starts shooting in April of 2010, currently has three returning regulars, Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox and hubby David Arquette, with a possible Allison Mack. Written by Kevin Williamson, the horror’s return will dive right back into the chase between Syndey Prescott and the Ghost face killer. The fourth flick is also said to be kicking “off a new trilogy.”
Speaking out about Scream 4, Kevin Williamson recently shared a little on what fans can expect to see:
“The fourth one is an ensemble. It’ll take place right now, 10 years later, and it’s going to take place in Woodsboro. We’ll have our three main characters [Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox and David Arquette] will indeed be returning for Scream 4.and we’ll be introducing several more. We’ll also be introducing a little group, a little ensemble of new cast members. That’ll take us through the next three.”
Allison Mack’s Scream 4 role was recently reported by the Kryptonite site. Info surrounding what role Mack will be taking on in the movie is scarce as well as the additional cast mates on board. Either way it’s great
to see Allison Mack step out of her regular role as Clark Kent’s side kick. News on whether Wes Craven will be directing is also up in the air.
“We start shooting ‘Scream 4′ in mid-April,” stated lead actress Neve Campbell. Which means we could conceivably see the movie hitting theaters by late-fall of next year. I’d even go as far as saying it’s probable, given the series’ history.
