As a biography Archie Panjabi is an English Actress who was born in Middlesex, England in 1972. In 1999 Panjabi made her first film debut in the movie East is East. Also known as Archie Panabi, the actress has been seen in both television and on the big screen. Her most recent credits include the 2007 movie I Could Never Be Your Woman as well as Espion, Traitor, Personal Affairs as Jane Lesser and Be Good.
A Rheims Festival’s Best Actress winner, Archie Panjabi’s other acting credits include the film Yasmin, The Constant Gardner, Code 46, My World, A Mighty Heart, Life on Mars, Chromophobia, A Very Social Secretary, Sea of Souls, Final Demand in the role of Farida and Cross My Heart as Sumi. On top of her weekly role in The Good Wife as the crafty investigator Kalinda Sharma, Archie can be seen in two upcoming films titled House Husbands and The Infidel.
In The Infidel, Panjabi has been cast as Saamiya Nasir. The movie is said to be “an identity crisis comedy centred on Mahmud Nasir, successful business owner, and salt of the earth East End Muslim who discovers that he’s adopted - and Jewish.”
