Here’s a new movie trailer of Brad Pitt’s upcoming film ‘Inglorious Basterds.’
In Nazi-occupied France during World War II, a group of Jewish-American soldiers known as “The Basterds” are chosen specifically to spread fear throughout the Third Reich by scalping and brutally killing Nazis. The Basterds soon cross paths with a French-Jewish teenage girl who runs a movie theater in Paris which is targeted by the soldiers. Written and directed by Quentin Tarantino, this film has a large cast that includes Brad Pitt as Lt. Aldo Raine, Diane Kruger as Bridget von Hammersmark, Mélanie Laurent as Shosanna Dreyfus, Christoph Waltz as Col. Hans Landa, Daniel Brühl as Frederick Zoller, Eli Roth as Sgt. Donnie Donowitz, Samm Levine as PFC Hirschberg, B.J. Novak as PFC Utivich among others.
The film is due to hit theaters on August 21, 2009.
