Did you hear the news about Brawley Nolte, Nick Nolte’s son’s DUI arrest? He was picked up by Santa Monica police Tuesday afternoon. Read more about the story here.
Brawley Nolte, who is 23 years of age, was heading northbound on the Pacific Coast Highway, switched lanes and hit a car in front of him, according to Sgt. Jay Trisler of the Santa Monica Police Department.
Police arrived at the scene and suspected that he was driving while under the influence. Nolte was administered a wave of sobriety tests and arrested for ’suspicion of DUI”. It is unclear what substance he took. He’s out right now after posting the $5,000 bail. Check out his mugshot here. Of course, one can never forget Nick Nolte’s shocking mugshot (crazy hair and all) after he was arrested for DUI in 2002. He pleaded no contest to the charge.
Brawley appeared in the 1996 film, Ransom, where he played the kidnapped son of Mel Gibson and Rene Russo. You can see video of Brawley in Ransom below. He subsequently appeared in just two more films - Affliction in 1997 and My Horizon this year, which, according to imdb, he co-starred with his father, Nick.
