‘Clueless’ actress Brittany Murphy’s death has stunned family, friends and fans all around the world. At such a young age, Murphy’s cause of death has many wondering what happened to end the talented performer’s life this past weekend when she became unresponsive. The autopsy has been completed with a report coming soon once toxicology tests are complete. For now many will have to wait until the Autopsy Report is released.
What we do know is that Brittany Murphy was said to be suffering from flu-like symptoms prior to her death and also had laryngitis. While the Autopsy Report is coming soon, Foul play is not a factor in the case.
“Foul play is not suspected at this time because there were no outward signs of trauma or other injuries,” explains coroner’s Capt. John Kades.
Speaking out about the sudden death, Brittany Murphy’s family called her demise:
“a terrible tragedy. The sudden loss of our beloved Brittany is a terrible tragedy,” her family said in a statement issued by her publicist. “She was our daughter, our wife, our love and a shining star. We ask you to respect our privacy at this time.”
While the late actress’ husband Simon Monjack stated “My world was destroyed yesterday.” Sad news all around. Many celebs who have worked with the late Brittany Murphy have also spoken out via Twitter calling the 8 Mile actor a “ray of sunshine” and “a sweet soul, with a lot of talent and heart.”

I wonder if Brittany Murphy died of H1N1 flu. I had it recently and had those same symptoms. It’s not a flu you get over fast. And you can die not of pneumonia, but you die of the flu which is very toxic getting into your lungs and making them bleed – and thus you die of CARDIOGENIC SHOCK and CARDIOPULMONARY ARREST. The antibiotics our United States doctors that are prescribing and the prednisone (steriod) are giving sometimes are the worst thing you can do (even tho you want the steroid to reduce the inflammation in the airway so you can get air through and hopefully move the mucus out of the way that is thick!)…the antibiotics and steroids (and in her case she has diabetes and steroids are awful for a diabetic) — steroids and antibiotics are reported by pathologists the worst thing that can be given a person with H1N1 flu – because it is the immune system that is needed with this flu – and the steroids and antibiotics REDUCE THE IMMUNE system.
I told my family last month when I had this flu – I told them many times “I think I need oxygen and to be in the hospital!”…and I meant it. Also a friend in N. Georgia had it and she did end up in the hospital and had to be put on a breathing machine and put into a coma to bring her through – she barely made it!
