Director Bryan Singer has reportedly been in talks with Twentieth Century Fox about producing a possible XMen 4 movie. Get the details here on Singer’s big plans.
The Usual Suspects director, Bryan Singer, says that he loves Hugh Jackman and the cast of XMen and wants to return to the franchise to direct a new movie! Bryan made the announcement at South Korea’s Pusan International Film Festival.
Speaking out about his interest, Bryan Singer stated that producing science fiction was most fulfilling and exciting because he is able to explore the human condition.
“The excitement about working in science fiction and fantasy is, the stories, if they are good, are about the human condition.”
Singer directed both the first and second (X-Men and X2: X-Men United) movies before leaving the mutant creatures in the hands of director Brett Ratner. He left the franchise to direct Superman Returns. So far no particulars have yet to be released on where and when Singer will begin the fourth installment. We will however keep you updated!
Singer explains that he likes to “trick audiences into thinking they’re seeing fireworks, but they’re learning about themselves and listening to what I have to say.”
