Actress Carla Gallo has several projects in the works. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Gallo has been approached to star in Ben Stiller’s new comedy. The up and coming series revolves around a “covert CIA operative Eric (Justin Bartha) and his workmates, who are on a mission in Central America to install a new dictator.” Carla will play the director to the operatives.
In Coming and Going, a comedy, Carla has taken on the role of Linda. The flick is being directed by Edoardo Ponti. A release date has yet to be announced. Get more on Gallo below.
As a biography, Carla Gallo, a New York actress, was born in Brooklyn on the 24th of June in the year 1975. She is thirty-five years old and a graduate of Cornell University. Gallo received her degree in Theater Arts.
Carla has worked in an array of roles, from a porn star in Californication to an over zealous grad student in Bones. Recently she has joined the cast of Ray Romano’s drama Men of a certain Age in a four episode arc as Annie.
Gallo first started out back in 1994 when she appeared in the movie entitled Spanking the Monkey as Toni Peck. Soon after the actress moved on to star in The 24 Hour Women, Law and Order, ER as Emma Miller and the movie The Gray in Between.
A petite brunette, Gallo has also played Lizzie Exley in the TV series entitled Undeclared from 2001 through 2003. Her additional credits have landed Gallo behind the camera in Forgetting Sarah Marshall, The Station, I Love You Man, Funny people starring Adam Sandler and Seth Rogan, What About Brian and Carnivale for over a dozen episodes as Libby Dreifus. Carla as also been seen in Mission Impossible 3.
This year Gallo has signed on to star in both the movies Coming and Going and For the Love of Jade.
