A big hit at the Sundance Film Festival, as well as highly recommended, the Catfish Movie Trailer video has been released. Watch it here and get all the hype surrounding the movie with video after the jump.

Already regarded as thought provoking, highly entertaining and fascinating, the Catfish Movie Trailer video is causing quite the buzz! Due in part because of the documentaries mysterious storyline, many sources are urging viewers to only watch the trailer and not read the spoilers. Otherwise the surprising twists and turns are unvailed.

A fave at the Sundance Film Festival, Catfish is a documentary created by Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman, who are also stars in the film alongside Nev Schulman. The duo began filming back in 2007 when it spiraled into a whole new life of its own. You can expect to see Catfish in select theaters on September 17th 2010 through Universal Pictures and Rogue Pictures.

“Nev, a 24-year-old New York-based photographer, has no idea what he’s in for when Abby, an eight-year-old girl from rural Michigan, contacts him on MySpace, seeking permission to paint one of his photographs. When he receives her remarkable painting, Nev begins a friendship and correspondence with Abby’s family. But things really get interesting when he develops a cyber-romance with Abby’s attractive older sister, Megan, a musician and model. Prompted by some startling revelations about Megan, Nev and his buddies embark on a road trip in search of the truth.” Written by Sundance Film Festival
