Actor Chris Zylka is one of the latest actors to sign on to the Spiderman reboot starring Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone. Set for release on July 3rd 2012, Zylka has been cast as Eugene “Flash” Thompson, a jock and one of Peter Parker’s enemies in high school, before Spidey and the star football player become friends in their later years.

Somewhat of an unknown, Chris Zylka’s latest casting in the Spiderman flick is sure to launch him right into the lime light. Already mentioned, the blonde actor has recently been seen in the long running Disney series Hannah Montana as the character as Gabe Lammotti, and the TV series 10 Things I Hate About You. As a bio, Chris Zylka brags a resume that includes both hit TV series and several movie roles. Zylka, whose date of birth is unknown, has been featured in The People I’ve Slept With as Mr. Hottie, Zeke and Luther in the role of Doyce Plunk and My Super Psycho Sweet 16 as Brigg.

Where else have you seen Zylka? Chris has also been seen in Courteney Cox’s Cougar Town, Everybody Hates Chris, the new 90210, and Kaboom. The actor is also scheduled to appear in the upcoming untitled 3D Shark Thriller movie as the character Blake.
