Foy will be play the supposed witch who is suspected of casting the Black Plague in the upcoming movie Season of the Witch. Appearing alongside Foy will be Nicholas Cage, Ron Perlman and Stephen Campbell Moore. The movie is scheduled for release in 2010.
As a biography actress Claire Foy was born in Stockport, England on April 16th of 1984. She was raised in Longwick, Buckinghamshire where she attended the Aylesbury High School. Foy later enrolled at the Liverpool John Moores University and Oxford School of Drama.
“When I was a little girl, I trained as a ballet dancer…Then, when I was 13 I developed juvenile arthritis…(and) began thinking about acting, althouh I never thought I could do it. But I was never the prettiest or the most talented girl. It was always an uphill struggle. I loved drama, but somehow I just thought everyone else was better than me.”
Claire Foy has since appeared in both TV series in Doctors and Being Human. Aside from Season of the Witch, Foy can also be seen in the upcoming movie Wreckers.
