You may recognize her from the HBO TV mini series The Pacific in the role of Stella. Now Claire Van der Boom has landed a new gig as Rachel, the ex-wife of Danno in the Hawaii Five-0 reboot played by Scott Caan. And we hear she’s ready to fight!

Per TV Guide Van der Boom will show up this coming November to make Danno’s life difficult! With all the fighting over their daughter Grace, maybe the pair really have some unfinished business under that thick cloud of hate! Will they get back together? I guess we’ll find out.




In other news, Claire Van der Boom, a Broome, WA. native has previously been seen in Love My Way in the role of the character Billie. She has also starred in the short Katoomba and the 2008 TV series East West 101 as Elvira Tadic.

To boot, the Aussie actress, who is famed for her role in the TV series Rush where she played Grace Barry, can be seen in the 2010 movie Red Hill as Alice Cooper. Claire will also show up in the TV movie Tough Trade, as Bille Tucker, the Underbelly Files: The Man Who Got Away as Clelia Vigano, and Sisters of War in the role of Berenice Twohill.     I have just recently discovered the series “Rush” and I must say I was disappointed when they killed her character off. Imagine my surprise when I’m watching “my” show and there she is, I think she did great job making us believe that she was Rachel, and I’m looking forward to seeing just how that relationship develops.
