Courtney Love has lost custody of Frances Bean in what is being called a “private family” court matter. No one knows for sure why Love’s guardianship over her seventeen year-old daughter with Kurt Cobain was taken away but I am sure we all know why!

Courtney Love, the daughter of Hank Harrison, has been in and out of the media spotlight for some time now and it is mostly due to her wild antics, not her singing or acting career! Her daughter, Frances Bean, is said to be under the guardianship of her Grandmother, Wendy O’Connor, and her Aunt Kimberly Dawn Cobain.

Courtney Love, who is rumored to be involved as a cast member of the 2010 movie ‘Mother’s Little Helper’ in the role of Judy Fox, has been through her fair share of court proceedings before. The former love of Kurt Cobain has been in and out of rehab with substance abuse problems for years on top of her suicidal issues. Although previously stating that “Life is about choices. And I’ve chosen to move forward with my life in a healthy and positive way,” the actress is clearly in a bad place even after all this time.

“I get it, I really do,” Frances Bean said last year about her famous parents. “But at the same time it’s creepy. These people are fascinated by me, but I haven’t done anything. If you’re a big Nirvana fan, a big Hole fan, then I understand why you would want to get to know me, but I’m not my parents.”

No matter what the case, Courtney Love’s daughter Frances Bean will be turning eighteen years old next year at any rate so custody over Bean will be shortlived.
