Singer and songwriter Darren Criss who you may remember from last year’s A Very Potter Musical has inked a deal to appear in Glee this season. Criss will portray the character Blaine who is part of the Dalton Academy Warblers, an opposing glee club.
Rumors around the web are also speculating that Blaine will be the love interest of Chris Colfer’s character Kurt Hummel in due time. Apparently the two will be taking it slow. The subject regarding who Hummel will fall in love with is a hot one!
Colfer previously speaking out about Chord Overstreet as his love interest on Glee – “Maybe it is too obvious,” he theorized of the Sam-Kurt connection. “Our writers have a way of avoiding the obvious and throwing curveballs.”

As a biography Darren Criss, Glee guest star, is most notable for his recent role in the TV series Eastwick where he portrayed the character Josh in a five episode arc. Just recently the performer also appeared in a guest stint on the crime drama Cold Case as a character by the name of Rueben.
Acting since 2005, the soon to be Glee guest star has also been seen in the 2005 flick I Adora You as Josh and 2009’s Walker Phillips were he appeared as Elliott. Criss also has a new movie due out this year entitled The Chicago 8 where he will star as the Yippie Man.

He was also the lead in the Harry Potter musical, “A Very Potter Musical” and “A Very Potter Sequel” which became viral last year. His voice is really great and he’ll be a great addition to Glee.

Darren Criss is AMAZING!
He’ll be awesome on Glee. If you guys haven’t heard his EP, “Human” you should go buy it on iTunes RIGHT NOW… The songs on it are my favorites at the moment.

Darren is an inspiration. His voice is amazing, and if you’ve ever heard on of the songs he’s written, you understand what I mean. A Very Potter Musical was hysterical, and I can’t help but think of him as Harry Potter now, but he’d be great in anything. I’m so excited that he’s getting recognition on a super-hit TV series. Glee + Darren Criss = DYNAMITE!

Yes!!!!!, My most two favorite things in the world coming together some how harry potter(in any form) and Glee. Darren Criss has an awesome voice, I own most of his songs, i’m soooooooo happy hes going to be on Glee!

I told my friends that I’d only watch Glee if Darren Criss got on it. They forced me to watch it, and I did. Shortly after, I learned that Darren got on. Me=his good luck charm? I’d like to think so. ;D
Anyways, he’s fantastic and I’m ever so glad he got on.
