Darren Legallo recently became engaged to “Enchanted” actress Amy Adams. Her publicist confirmed the news today.

As a biography, Darren Legallo is 34 years old.

Darren is still working on his big break as an actor, but seems close. He had a couple small roles on television in “Six Feet Under” and “First Monday”, but didn’t land his first movie role until 2006, in “Pennies”, which as fate would have it, also starred girlfriend Amy Adams.

Darren and Amy met in acting class in 2001. They were engaged in July 2008, already planning a wedding for next year. Darren popped the question with a beauty of a ring, a diamond by French jewelry designer Jean Dousset.

The latest list of the best paid actors in Hollywood has been released, and guess who’s on top. He wouldn’t have come to mind, but Will Smith is Hollywood best-paid actor, grossing over $80 million in the last year.

Will Smith had a big movie year, with his latest, “Hancock”, earning over $100 million. That’s the same amount his last 7 films have made, making Smith a force to be reckoned with. There’s a reason he’s called the hardest working man in Hollywood.

Diaz brought in $50 million last year. As for the rest of the actresses, the list is as follows:

Sandra Blazic is the wife of Batman, Christian Bale, and seemingly at the center of Bale’s famiy fued with his mother. You can see her biography and photos along with a video below.

The family drama started on Sunday when Bale voluntarily went to police after his mother, a former circus clown, and sister filed assault charges. He was allowed to attend the London premiere of “Dark Knight” on Monday but was brought back in for questioning Tuesday by Scotland Yard detectives. Now the NY Daily News is reporting the argument was over Bale’s mother insulting his wife, Sandra.

“Christian was stressed, but he didn’t lay a finger on anyone,” said a source quoted by the Mail. “Instead, he just flew off the handle and cussed at his mother. He just got very loud because his mother was saying some very outrageous things about him, and his wife.”

This might be the only story more interesting than the movie right now.

As a biography, Sandra Blazic was born in Chicago, Illinois on April 14, 1970 which makes her age 38. She is a former make-up artist and model. She was also the assistant to Winona Ryder and worked on the movies “Girl, Interrupted” and “Autumn in New York.” Ryder actually introduced the couple who is now reportedly going through a rough patch and Bale’s documented temper in the past is not helping the situation.

“He has stresses in his marriage,” a source told the Mail. “He can have a terrible temper. Instead of lashing out at his wife, he sometimes lashes out at people around him. His marriage is not perfect, but his relationship with his mother is in much more trouble.”

It sounds like their mother-son relationship has always been rocky. His parents divorced in 1991 when Bale was 13 and four years later he moved to Los Angeles to live with his father. Since that time, Christian has only returned to Wales once.

As for Sandra, she and Bale were married in 2000 on her birthday. Bale is rumored to have chosen that date so he would not forget their anniversary. Her measurements are 5′ 8″ tall with a slim build and beautiful blue eyes. The couple also have one daughter, Emmeline, who will turn three this year.

The official green band trailer for the movie ‘College’ has been released and I already feel like I’ve watched too much of the movie. You can judge for yourself by watching the video below.

The movie centers around three friends, Drake Bell, Andrew Caldwell and Kevin Covais, who are high school seniors embarking on a weekend trip to visit college. They encounter fraternities, partying, and of course, girls at Fieldmont University. The guys get into all kinds of shananigans, but “what began as the weekend-from-hell turns into the BEST. WEEKEND. EVER.” You can get other info on the film here.

This trailer inspired me to do two things and watch the movie is not one of them. However, I will now research and compile a list of scenes from the best college movies and also figure out how I know the nerdy-looking guy with glassses. After checking it appears Kevin Covais was “Chicken Little” from season 5 of “American Idol.” I forgot he made it to the top 12. Now the guy is doing ‘College’ and just finished filming Lindsay Lohan’s newest movie, ‘Labor Pains.’

Lance Bass and Sebastian were spotted together at a Malibu party in recent weeks and before that in New York City, leading onlookers to believe they were a couple. But now the trouble is brewing, because it turns out, Sebastian is married.

As a biography, Sebastian Leal was born and raised in Brazil, although he has some Italian heritage. He is a personal trainer in California at Shequinox Gym.

Around 1999, Sebastian married Jessica Gannon, but they have been separated for about three years. Now he’s been seen around town with “On the Line” star Lance Bass. Sources say that Lance most likely knows of the marriage,

“Lance and Sebastian are very open with each other and have no secrets.”

The long-running film critic show, “At the Movies with Ebert & Roeper”, has come to an end. Roger Ebert has announced his departure, an announcement that comes only shortly after Richard Roeper’s own statement that he won’t be involved in the show.

Roger Ebert made the announcement on his website today, stating in part,

“After 33 years on the air, 23 of them with Disney, the studio has decided to take the program named ‘Siskel & Ebert’ and then ‘Ebert & Roeper’ in a new direction. I will no longer be associated with it. The show was a wonderful experience…. We made television history, and established the trademarked catch-phrase ‘Two thumbs up.’ The trademark still belongs to me and Marlene Iglitzen, Gene’s widow, and the thumbs will return. We are discussing possibilities, and plan to continue the show’s tradition.”

The statement from Ebert, and an earlier statement from Roeper, come after news of changes to the show’s format began circulating.

The exit of both big name critics has led some to wonder about the relevance of professional critics in this day and age. With all those bloggers out there and other amateurs, it’s getting harder to keep professionals on the payroll. I think I agree - was anyone watching “At the Movies” anymore?

In case you don’t feel like going to the theater to fight the Batman crowd, there’s still at least one good movie you can watch right in your own home. The DVDs releasing this week include “21″, “Picture This”, and “Two Tickets to Paradise”.

A movie based on the book “Bringing Down the House”, “21″ stars Kevin Spacey and Kate Bosworth. It tells the story of some very gifted MIT students who use their math skills to count cards and score some serious cash. But when you start down a road of excitement and danger, you never know where you’ll end up. When Ben gets in too deep, he’s got to get out of the game before it’s too late.

“High School Musical” star Ashley Tisdale is back on the screen in this dramedy about a girl who trying to discover herself in the high school hallways. It’s an ABC Family original. Ashley plays Mandy, a senior who happens upon a date with the most popular guy in school. Unfortunately, she’ll have to overcome a few obstacles to get to the date, including her own unpopularity, mean high school girls including Drew’s ex-girlfriend, and her dad. And there’s an Ashley Tisdale cover of Pat Benatar’s “Shadows of the Night”. Sounds like it’s perfect for next weekend’s slumber party.

Two Tickets To Paradise

This little-known movie stars John C. McGinley, D. B. Sweeney, Moira Kelly, and Ed Harris. It’s a story of three friends pulling each other up from the blows life has thrown their way. After one loses his money and his family on a bet, one loses his wife to an affair, and one realizes he’s just not into the life he’s ended up with, they take off on a journey for the College Football Championship Bowl. And of course hilarity ensues, followed by that heartwarming feeling you get from being with great friends.

“The Dark Knight” was released Friday, July 18, and people were lined up for blocks to get in to see it. And the money came pouring in. It’s as if the Joker was forshadowing his own success when he stacked up millions of dollars in pyramid form. The midnight shows alone brought in $18.5 million. When added to the rest of the day’s totals, Batman made $66.4 million on opening day. This amount broke the previous record of $59.8 million held by “Spider-Man 3″.

And yes, it was worth every penny. I saw the new Batman movie last night, and loved it. Sure there was a lot of hype going in, particularly owing to the Heath Ledger back story. But it lived up to it.

I would recommend watching “Batman Begins” again before going to the theater, though. I spent a good 15 minutes saying to myself, “how did the last one end, again?” But I got over it, and fell right into the new story.

As I’m sure you’ve heard before, Heath Ledger truly is the best part of the movie. He’s 100% believable as the Joker, and funny! Although he’s crazy as hell, you kind of get what he’s saying, and he’s totally light-hearted about it and yet simultaneously dark. A hard character to pull off, Ledger does it well.

As for the rest of the cast, Christian Bale and Aaron Eckhart hold up their end of the bargain. They’re righteousness isn’t even annoying - people really are good deep down! But as much as I love Maggie Gyllenhaal, her Rachel Dawes was just okay - I think she watched “Batman Begins” too many times and became a mimic of Katie Holmes. I know the character is the same, but make it your own, Maggie.

Over all, a great movie. I completely forgot about standing in line for 45 minutes while the movie started 40 minutes late. (New movie theater - apparently they’re still trying to figure things out. Unfortunately, there was no comment card.)

Meet Robert Buckley, the hot actor currently starring in “Lipstick Jungle” and making his way onto the big screen in the upcoming film “Legend at Hell’s Gate”.

Buckley just signed on for season 2 of “Lipstick Jungle”, but that doesn’t mean he is too busy for film roles. He is rumored to be involved in the latest “based on a true story” movie about three outlaws and their expedition of Possum Kingdom Lake in Texas.

As a biography, Robert Buckley was born on May 2, 1981 in Los Angeles, California, so his age is 27. He graduated from the University of California at San Diego with a bachelor’s degree in Economics. While in college, he appeared on “The Price Is Right”, and even caused host Bob Barker to note “That wasn’t the smartest bid he could have made”, after he went just $1 less than another bidder.

Though acting since 2006, he hit it big when he landed the role of photographer Kirby Atwood on the NBC show “Lipstick Jungle”. The mid-season break through was so successful, it’s been picked up for a second season. So you can see more shirtless Buckley every Thursday this Fall. And it looks like he’s liking the attention. At a party in February, the girls were falling all over him, including celebs Sophia Bush and Rumer Willis.

And now he’s landed a gig as the latest Levi’s model. Buckley says he “lives in jeans and t-shirts”. Just the way we like you, Bobby. Well, almost - he could stand to lose the t-shirts.

But that’s not all Bobby Buckley is up to. He’s got a few films in the works, including the made-for-television movie, “Flirting with 40″, also starring Heather Locklear. The two have been in Waikiki Beach, Hawaii filming together. The plot involves a divorced mother who falls in love with a younger man on vacation. Sounds vaguely familiar - didn’t Stella already get her groove back?

Right now Buckley’s involvement in “Legend at Hell’s Gate” is just a rumor, but with his body he looks about right for the part. Outlaw expeditioners? They ought to be shirtless and good-looking, like Kirby Atwood.

Buckley is rumored to be dating “Lipstick Jungle” co-star Lindsay Price.

Meet Alexie Gilmore, an actress who stars alongside Matthew McConaughey and Robin Williams in her upcoming movies. You can see her biography and photos below.

Alexie Gilmore was born in 1976, which makes her age 32. She lived in Manhattan until age 10 when her family moved to New Jersey. She attended Tenafly high school and then went to DeSales University in Pennsylvania. She describes herself as a good kid growing up who loved movies.

“I never got into any trouble when I was a kid. We just went to see movies and went to get ice cream. We would maybe go to the Tenafly Diner and just talk about the movies we saw.”

Her acting career started with a Talbot’s commercial and led to movies like “I Do & I Don’t,” “Definitely, Maybe” and “Surfer Dude” with McConaughey. It is due out later this year. Gilmore has also starred in several television shows including “Rescue Me,” “Law & Order: Criminal Intent,” “Hope & Faith” and “New Amsterdam”. Her next project is an indie film with Robin Williams called “World’s Greatest Dad.”

The film has an interesting plot about Lance, a “high school poetry teacher (Williams) who copes with his son’s death from a freak masturbation accident by faking a suicide note to spare the family shame.” Gilmore plays Claire, a fellow teacher who has an affair with Lance. This movie just started filming Tuesday in Seattle.

After watching the movie ‘Charlie Bartlett’ the other night, I was inspired by Hope Davis’ performance as Charlie’s mother. She was hilarious and the scene with the two of them at the piano is particularly entertaining. You can see it below. In honor of that wonderful duet, I’ve compiled a list of the ten best movie music scenes. Some are funny, some are classic, but they are all worth watching.

10. Best Movie Music Scenes - ‘Adventures in Babysitting’

Who knew Elisabeth Shue could sing? A better question might be, who knew ‘Adventures in Babysitting’ was released over twenty years ago? The scene below shows Elisabeth and the three kids she was watching when they stumble into a blues club. They are forced to sing so they break into an impromtu song chronicling their night entitled ‘Babysitting Blues.’ Definite classic.

9. Best Movie Music Scenes - ‘The Wedding Singer’

The ‘Wedding Singer’ has some great music scenes in it with Adam Sandler, but I decided to go with the one starring Ellen Dow. It’s a short scene, but anytime an 80-year-old woman can rap Sugar Hill Gang it’s worth a mention. The woman was educated at Cornell and will turn 90 in November. Talk about a cool grandma.

In the scene Jessica is approached by the Love Guru, played by Mike Myers, who gives her a flower and then places both of his hands on her head. She then proceeds to seemingly have an orgasm, which is some of Jessica’s best acting to date. You can see more pictures of the scene here.

As for the Love Guru character itself, Myers said it was inspired by the loss of his father. After his passing, Myers engulfed himself in several self-help books, which he says not only helped him but others.

‘‘As I was reading all of these books, people would ask me what I was working on and I would tell them and invariably this voice would emerge and I would say ‘The only way out is in’ and ‘People may say bad things about you, but you must never say bad things about yourself.’ It was a blast and I would think ‘I feel so much better.’”

As for Simpson, she has recently been involved in a sort of war of words with Pam Anderson. Jessica was photographed wearing a shirt that said “Real Girls Eat Meat.” Pam, who is heavily involved with PETA, went on an Australian radio show and had some interesting words for Simpson.

“I think she is a bitch and whore. Actually, I don’t know if she was talking about food or men.”

Jessica is yet to comment on Pamela’s statement but friends say she was deeply hurt and disgusted. I actually think it was a bit over the top, but if the t-shirt was talking about men, maybe that’s why Jessica and Tony Romo got back together. Or maybe it was because of the pictures below. Max Payne is a third person video game like it’s “Tomb Raider” predecessor. It revolves around the character’s attempt at revenge after his family is killed by junkies high on Valkyr. Payne then joins the DEA and infiltrates the mob looking for the source of the drug. But let’s cut to the chase, there’s a lot of fighting, bullets flying and the beautiful Mila Kunis. Monday night in California, Matthew McConaughey became the proud father of a 7 lb., 4 oz. baby boy. His girlfriend Camila Alves gave birth early Monday night, with McConaughey announcing the birth the next day.

OK! Magazine reported the birth of Matthew McConaughey’s baby, quoting the actor as saying,

“Camila and I were side by side the entire time. We are both tired and elated, and are so happy to have created the greatest miracle in the world — having a child and making a family. Now comes the greatest adventure — raising one, together.”

The couple has named the child Levi Alves McConaughey. The birth has a special Biblical meaning for dad. First, the name Levi is another name used by the apostle Matthew. And second, the birth time of 6:22 is Matthew’s favorite verse in the Bible: “If thy eye be single, thy whole body will be full of light.”
