The highly anticipated live action movie based on the enduring, iconic G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero and G.I. Joe: Sigma 6 Hasbro toy franchise and Marvel comic book series will be in theaters on August 7, 2009. The new Super Bowl TV commercial is our first glimpse of footage from the movie.

The movie is directed by Stephen Sommers (The Mummy and The Mummy Returns), produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura (Transformers and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen) and written by Stuart Beattie (Australia). It is set 10 years in the future and chronicles the rise of the G.I. Joe nemesis, the Cobra Organization a.k.a. Cobra Command, led by the mysterious, mask-wearing Cobra Commander. Parts of the movie were shot on location in The Czech Republic in the Old Town in Prague.

The movie features an ensemble cast: Dennis Quaid, Channing Tatum, Christopher Eccleston, Sienna Miller, Ray Park, Rachel Nichols, Marlon Wayans, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Lee Byung-hun. Here are character posters recently released for the movie. Despite the large cast of characters and elaborate plot, the movie is said to be comprehensible even to the newcomer. A video game from EA is also in the works as is a four-issue prequel by Chuck Dixon to be published by IDW Publishing with each issue focusing on a single character. But above all, a live action screen adaptation for the ever popular G.I. Joe is long overdue.

You can find several screen shots from the movie trailer here. See the trailer in full HD here. More photos and the G.I. Joe Super Bowl trailer video are below.

Taken Trailer Video

Here is a new full length theatrical trailer for ‘Taken’ starring Liam Neeson. The international suspense thriller will be released in U.S. theaters on January 30, 2009. See photos and the movie trailer video here.

liam neeson 1

‘Taken’ (2008) was directed by French director Pierre Morel (District B13) and co-written by French screenwriters Robert Mark Kamen (Kiss of the Dragon, The Transporter) and Luc Besson (The Professional, La Femme Nikita, Fifth Element), who also produced the movie. After several delays in release date, the highly anticipated movie has generated a tremendous buzz.

Liam Neeson stars as Bryan Mills, a divorcee and former paramilitary officer with the Special Activities Division of the CIA. When sex traffickers kidnap his 17-year-old daughter Kim (Maggie Grace) in Paris he uses every means necessary, from his extensive and dark history with the agency, to rescue his daughter. Also starring in the movie are Famke Janssen as Mills’ ex-wife Lenore and Xander Berkeley as the wealthy man she has married since the divorce.

Acclaimed, veteran actor Liam Neeson brings much intensity and bravado to the role, as evidenced by the very tense scenes in the trailer. With such an extensive track record of bringing memorable characters to life on the big screen– from the title character of Steven Spielberg’s Schindler’s List, which first made him an A-Lister to his fine outstanding work in blockbusters such as Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, Darkman, Rob Roy, Kingdom of Heaven, Batman Begins, and The Chronicles of Narnia–it’s clear that he brings much to the movie’s suspense and edginess, following the actions of a father desperate to save his daughter.

“Maybe it’s a working class work ethic thing,” said Neeson…”I like the feeling of physical activity. I feel I’ve done an honest day’s work for an honest dollar…It appealed to the 16-year-old in me, and it also appealed to the father in me,” Neeson said. “It’s kind of a lovely, no-brainer, slam-dunk little action film with no pretensions.”"

You can find several movie posters and photos from the movie here; and an interview with Neeson here. More photos and the ‘Taken’ theatrical trailer video are below.

Gabourey Sidibe: Push

Meet Gabourey Sidibe the up and coming young actress who has received critical acclaim for her performance in the movie ‘Push: Based on a Novel by Sapphire.’ See photos, video and a biography here.

Lee Daniels, director of Monster’s Ball and Shadowboxer, directed the movie which, as its full official title implies, is based on a 1996 novel by Ramona Lofton who publishes under the pen name Sapphire. Geoffrey Fletcher is the screenwriter. The movie is also known as simply ‘Push.’

Gabourey Sidibe portrays Claireece Precious Jones, a teenager in Harlem who confronts great obstacles in her life, including obesity, illiteracy, giving birth to two children fathered by her own father, and a mother who abuses her. Yet she refuses to become downtrodden and victimized. The movie tackles very grim subject matter yet is ultimately a triumphant story of redemption. The movie also stars Mo’Nique as her mother, and Paula Patton as her teacher, Lenny Kravitz as a nurse and Mariah Carey as a social worker.

The movie had its premiere at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival where it won three awards; Grand Jury Prize, Dramatic, Audience Award, Dramatic, and the U.S. Special Jury Prize, Dramatic which was awarded to Mo’Nique, for acting.

Despite its dark material, the film had Sundance audiences laughing at several comic scenes, revolving around surrealistic dreams Precious creates to escape. In one, she sees herself and her mother transported into a Sophia Loren movie playing on television, where her mom curses at her in Italian.

As a biography, Gabourey Sidibe was born in 1983 so her age is 25. She is also known as Gabby Sidibe. Her mother, Alice Tan Ridley, is a singer. She grew up in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York and later moved to Harlem. She attended college at Borough of Manhattan Community College and The City College of New York and Mercy College. Although she had performed in several plays at Lehman College, she did not have plans to pursue acting as a profession. She was working as consumer complaint call center while pursuing a degree in psychology.

It was her mother who had been approached by a production company to play the role of Precious’ mother in the screen adaptation of ‘Push,’ but she declined the role because of its emotional intensity. It was as that time that Sidibe read the novel.

Stage director Henry Ovalles, whom Sidible had worked with at Lehman College, encouraged her to audition for the role of Precious. The audition that changed her life; she impressed casting agents tremendously, which led to a meeting with director Lee Daniels, and the starring role in his movie all in less than a week.

Here are several photos of Gabourey Sidibe. A video is below.

Screen Actors Guild Awards 2009 Winners

The 2009 Screen Actors Guild Awards take place on January 25, 2009 in a live telecast on TNT and TBS at 8pm ET. See a complete list of nominees, winners, photos and video below of the annual awards.

james earl jones 1 1 2 3

The 15th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, also known as the SAG Awards, are given out for outstanding performances in 2008 in five film and eight primetime television categories and for the SAG honors for film and television stunt ensembles.

Presenters at this year’s awards include Katie Holmes, Christina Applegate, Taye Diggs, Jon Hamm, John Krasinski, Amy Poehler, Anthony Hopkins, Susan Sarandon, Angela Bassett, Jon Hamm, John Krasinski, Eric McCormack, Kyra Sedgwick, William Shatner and Ernest Borgnine

As with the Directors Guild of America Awards (DGA) and the Producers Guild of America Awards (PGA), the SAG Awards are selected solely by peers in the profession; fellow members of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG). Votes come from two randomly selected panels, for film and television respectively, with each panel comprised of 2,100 SAG members in the U.S. Winners of these awards are sometimes predictors of Academy Award winners and thus closely watched.

The actress with the most nominations is Taraji P. Henson, who was nominated for three awards; Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’ and the Outstanding Performance by a Cast for the movie. She also received a Outstanding Performance by a Cast for the TV series ‘Boston Legal.’ The actress is gaining much notoriety and acclaim, including a Best Supporting Actress Academy Award nomination for ‘Benjamin Button.’

The late Heath Ledger was nominated posthumously for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role for his brilliant performance as The Joker in ‘The Dark Knight.’ He was favored to win, and did win, with fellow cast member Gary Oldman accepting the award on his behalf. He is also the winner of the Golden Globe and has received an Oscar nod.

Other notable nominees include Viola Davis for her supporting role in ‘Doubt’ (she also received the Best Supporting Oscar nod) and Meryl Streep for her leading role in the same movie. Streep went on to win the award and Davis lost to Kate Winslet (for her performance in ‘The Reader.’)

Snubs include Leonardo DiCaprio for his performance in ‘Revolutionary Road’ and Clint Eastwood, for ‘Gran Torino’ who was also notoriously snubbed in major Oscar categories for the movie.

Legendary actor James Earl Jones received the SAG Life Achievement Award, with Forest Whitaker as the presenter. The award is given annually to recognize “outstanding achievement in fostering the finest ideals of the acting profession.” SAG’s National Honors and Tributes Committee is responsible for nomination and voting of the winner. The veteran stage and screen actor who gave a sinister voice to pop culture icon and Star Wars villain Darth Vader, will add a new award to his extensive honors which include a Kennedy Center Honor, three Emmys, two Tonys, one Grammy, six Desk Drama Awards, two Obies, and a National Medal of Arts.

James Earl Jones SAG Life Achievement Award 2009

Meet James Earl Jones, the legendary actor who gave Star Wars’ villain Darth Vadar his deep, sinister voice. He received the SAG Life Achievement Award 2009 on January 25, 2009. See photos, video and a biography of James Earl Jones here.

The Screen Actors Guild (SAG) gives this annual award to an actor who exemplifies the highest ideals of the profession of acting. He was recognized for his “long and quiet devotion to advancing literacy, the arts and humanities on a national and local scale.” Actor, director and producer Forest Whitaker presented the Award to James in the live telecast of the 15th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards on January 25, 2009.

Jones has had a remarkable career in both stage and screen. Although he has never received an Academy Award, he has won just about everything else including, a National Medal of Arts, a Kennedy Center Honor, two Tonys, a Grammy, three Emmys, six Desk Drama Awards, and two Obies. Regarding the SAG Lifetime Achievement Award, Jones said in an interview,

“It’s a great thrill for me. I have been around a long time…So I qualify for a lifetime thing, but I’m primarily a stage actor. So I feel my ambition is to be a centipede, a monopede is an actor who does only movies. I’m a dualpede, a triplepede. I do commercials and animations. I’m going towards the centipede.”

As a biography, James Earl Jones was born on January 17, 1931 so his age is 78. He was born in Mississippi, abandoned by his father, (although reconciled in later years), and his mother relinquished him to the care of his maternal grandparents, in Jackson, Michigan, when Jones was five. This move was traumatic and caused Jones to develop the stutter and subsequent muteness which he so amazingly and impressively overcame with the help of a high school teacher who helped him regain confidence by reciting the poetry he had written before his class every day.

Jones got his start in acting in the 1950s, after graduating from the University of Michigan and serving, briefly in the military. He made his film debut in the 1964 classic, “Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb.” His first starring role, was as boxer Jack Jefferson in the movie version of the Broadway play, “The Great White Hope,” based the life of boxer Jack Johnson. Jones was nominated for a Best Actor Academy Award. He received a Tony Award for his portrayal of Jack Jefferson in the Broadway play. (He received his second Tony Award in 1987 for his starring role in “Fences.”)

Subsequent roles furthered James Earl Jones’ rise to prominence, in movies such as “Field of Dreams,” “The Sandlot,” “Coming to America,” “Cry, The Beloved Country,” “The Hunt for Red October,” “Patriot Games,” “Clear and Present Danger,” and “Gardens of Stone.”

And, of course, the legendary actor has made numerous contributions to our pop culture. He is the unforgettable voice of Darth Vadar in the 1983 movie Star Wars and the Star Wars sequels. His voice is also heard in the Disney animated movie The Lion King, and The Lion King II: Simba’s Pride. His voice also delivers the CNN tagline, “This is CNN.”

Richard Jenkins is ‘The Visitor’ Actor

Meet Richard Jenkins, the Academy Award nominated actor from ‘The Visitor’. Read the rest of the story and see photos, video, and a biography of Richard Jenkins below.

Richard Jenkins

Richard Jenkins has been nominated for Best Actor for his role as Professor Walter Vale in the movie ‘The Visitor’. He found the nod very surprising, saying:

“This nomination is such an unexpected honor and I am grateful to the Academy for the recognition. I’ve been awed by the work of my fellow nominees this year and am truly humbled to be in their company. Having been an actor for many years now, I am moved by the fact that something like this can happen at this point in my career, particularly for a film that has meant so much to me.”

Richard Jenkins was born on May 4, 1947 in DeKalb, Illinois. He is the son of M. Elizabeth (Wheeler) and and Dale Stevens Jenkins. The 61 year old studied at Illinois Wesleyan University and earned a degree in drama and then relocated to Rhode Island.

Richard Jenkins worked in theater while he was trying to break into film and television. ‘Feasting with Panthers’ in 1974, a television movie, was his first break, and has lead to steady film and tv roles since. While he may not be a name you recognize, his face probably is, as he has been in such notable works as ‘The Witches of Eastwick’, ‘Snow Falling on Cedars’, ‘How to Make an American Quilt’, ‘There’s Something About Mary’, ‘Say It Isn’t So’, ‘Burn After Reading’, and ‘North Country’, as well as a million other titles.

His numerous supporting roles landed him the lead in ‘The Vistor’, which has been well received by critics and earned him a Best Actor nod for the 2009 Academy Awards. He has been cast in the upcoming horror flick ‘The Cabin in the Woods’.

Richard Jenkins has also dabbled in television over his long career, and is probably best known for his role as the deceased patriarch of the family in HBO’s ‘Six Feet Under’.

In his personal life, Richard seems to be the opposite of much of Hollywood. While the short lived celebrity marriage seems to be the norm in La La Land, Richard married his wife, Sharon R. Frederick, on August 23, 1969. The couple has two children together, Sarah Pamela and Andrew Dale. Richard and Sharon live together on Thomas Leighton Boulevard in Cumberland, Rhode Island.

Inkheart Movie Reviews Lukewarm

Inkheart, a film adaptation of the children’s best selling novel by Cornelia Funke, is getting so-so reviews from major publications. See photos, video and read reviews of Inkheart below.

Poster1

The tagline for this movie is, “Every story ever written is just waiting to become real.” The story is about Meggie Folcharts (Eliza Hope Bennett) who discovers that her father, Mo Folcharts (Brendan Fraser), has an amazing talent to bring characters from books to life and must try to stop a freed villain, Capricorn (Andy Serkis), from destroying them all. With the help of her father, her Great Aunt (Helen Mirren), and a storybook’s hero, they attempt to find a way to return the villain and the hero back to the book and restore peace to their world. Early reviews aren’t that great for this film full of special effects and a muddled plot.

The Los Angeles Times says:

“The convoluted fantasy adventure film is no page turner.”

The New York Times says:

“A movie that can produce the image of Helen Mirren astride a unicorn has some claim on the audience’s interest, and a movie that can make that image seem perfectly uninteresting is in some serious trouble.”

Salon says:

“Brendan Fraser stars in this fantasy-adventure about the power of books. But where is the magic?”

From the sound of it, maybe it’s better to save the $9.00 admission and wait for this movie to come out on DVD.

Written by Cornelia Funke and David Lindsay-Abaire
Directed by Iain Softley
Opens: Jan 23
MPAA: Rated PG for fantasy adventure action, some scary moments and brief language

Viola Davis: Best Supporting Actress

Meet Viola Davis, an actress who hails from Rhode Island. You’ve seen her on Broadway, TV and the silver screen. Her role as Mrs. Miller in “Doubt” has earned her an Academy Award Best Supporting Actress nomination. See photos, video and read a biography of Viola below.

Viola Davis

Congratulations to Viola Davis, who today received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Mrs. Miller in “Doubt”. Co-star Amy Adams received a Best Supporting Actress nod as well.

Of her nomination, she said:

“I didn’t sleep all night,” she said. “I screamed in my husband’s ear and drank some champagne. When you’re acknowledged like this, you feel confident that you’ve reached people and you’re on the right path.”

As a biography, Viola Davis was born on August 11, 1965 in St. Matthews, South Carolina, so her age is 43. At a young age, her family moved to Central Falls, Rhode Island. For Davis, acting was an escape of sorts. She was discovered by Bernard Masterson, who was director of Young People’s School for the Performing Arts in Rhode Island, and he offered her a scholarship to the school. She graduated from Rhode Island College in 1988, where she majored in theatre. She would later receive an Honorary Doctor of Fine Arts from the school. In addition to Rhode Island College, she went to the famed Julliard School for four years.

She received a Tony Award for Best Performance as an Actress for her role as Tonya in King Hedley II in 2001, and would receive a Drama Desk Award as well.

She has appeared in the Steven Soderbergh films Out of Sight, Solaris and Traffic. She is no stranger to television, having had roles on Law & Order: SVU, Traveler and Badge.

Viola’s portrayal of Mrs. Miller in the film “Doubt”, co-starring Meryl Streep and Philip Seymour Hoffman, has earned her a Golden Globe nomination and more recently a nomination for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.

On a personal note, she is married to Julius Tennon, an actor, and they have two children.

Taraji P. Henson Is Oscar Nominee

Taraji P. Henson is a critically acclaimed African-American actress and singer. See photos and video here of the emerging star who has received a Best Supporting Actress Oscar nomination for ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.’

taraji p henson 1

Prior to her nomination from American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Taraji P. Henson had been winning rave reviews for her role as Queenie, the adopted mother of the movie’s title character, portrayed by Brad Pitt, who has received a Best Actor Oscar nomination for his role. The movie, directed by David Fincher, also stars Cate Blanchett as Benjamin Button’s love interest. In total, the movie received 13 nominations including Best Picture and Best Director.

The unusual movie, based on the F. Scott Fitzgerald story of the same title, is set in New Orleans and chronicles the life of a man who is born an elderly man in 1918 and ages backwards until he becomes a child, begins in 1918 and concludes in 2005 with Hurricane Katrina. In the movie, Queenie, who is unable to have children of her own, takes in the unusual child who has the appearance of an elderly man. She cares for him and names him Benjamin.

As a biography, Taraji Henson was born in Washington, DC in 1970 so her age is 38. She graduated from Howard University with a degree in theater arts. She is a direct descendant of explorer Mathew Henson, the 1909 co-discoverer, with Robert Peary, of the North Pole. She made her screen debut in 1998 in the action movie Streetwise and subsequently appeared in the ‘Boyz N the Hood’ sequel, ‘Baby Boy.’

But it was her performance as Shug, a pregnant prostitute in the 2005 movie ‘Hustle & Flow’ produced by John Singleton and written and directed by Craig Brewer that put her on the verge of stardom. The movie starred Terrence Howard as a Memphis hustler DJay who aspires to be a rapper and who enlists Shug to perform on some of the tracks he records as he furthers his music career. Henson had a memorable appearance at the 78th Annual Academy Awards performing the Oscar nominated song from the movie, Three 6 Mafia’s ‘It’s Hard out Here for a Pimp.’ It was the first rap song to ever receive an Academy Award nomination.

Casting director Laray Mayfield had first seen Taraji P. Henson in ‘Hustle & Flow’ and was deeply impressed.

“I couldn’t take my eyes off of her,” Mayfield says in a deep rasp. “And when she wasn’t in the scene, I missed her. That’s exactly what you want from a mother— someone who makes you feel secure when they’re there, and when they’re gone, you miss them.”

When Henson showed up at Mayfield’s Hollywood office for her Benjamin Button audition in character—long linen skirt, white blouse, hair pulled back—he was blown away. “Once she started with the reading, I lost it,” says Mayfield. “I started sobbing. It was beautiful.”

She is also appearing in the drama ‘Not Easily Broken,’ directed by Bill Duke, based on T.D. Jakes’ novel of the same title and costarring Morris Chestnut. She will also appear in the forthcoming sports drama, Tim Story’s ‘Hurricane Season’ with co-stars, Forest Whitaker, Eric Hill, Lil Wayne and Bow Wow set for release in March 2009.

On February 22, 2009, Taraji P. Henson makes an appearance at the 81st Academy Awards as a nominee who may indeed achieve a breakthrough.

Oscar Nominations 2009

The 2009 Oscar nominations were announced on Thursday, January 22, 2009. See the full list of nominees, photos and video here.

heath ledger 1 1 2 3

As is tradition, the announcement of the 81st Academy Awards took place early in the morning, at 5:30 a.m. PT in the Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater.

Notably The Curious Case of Benjamin Button received 13 nominations including Best Picture. Danny Boyle’s “Slumdog Millionaire” an independent film, earned 10 nominations.

The Oscar nomination announcement coincidentally fell on the one-year anniversary of the death of Australian actor Heath Ledger, at age 28. His brilliant performance in The Dark Knight as The Joker won him a posthumous Golden Globe Award which the movie’s director, Christopher Nolan, accepted in an emotionally poignant speech.

Not surprisingly, Heath Ledger did receive the Best Supporting Actor nomination. It was the only top category nomination that ‘The Dark Knight’ received; the eight remaining nominations are in technical categories.

Best Actor nominees are Richard Jenkins, Frank Langella, Sean Penn, Brad Pitt, Mickey Rourke. Best Actress nominees Anne Hathaway, Angelina Jolie, Melissa Leo, Meryl Streep and Kate Winslet

Best picture will be a battle among The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Frost/Nixon, Milk, The Reader, Slumdog Millionaire

The 2009 Academy Awards will be presented on February 22, 2009 in a live telecast on ABC. This year, the awards presentation will be hosted by Australian actor Hugh Jackman, who recently starred in the movie ‘Australia’ with Nicole Kidman and appears as the title character in the highly anticipated X-Men Origins: Wolverine set for release later this year. He is the first non-comedian since 1990 memory to host, after Jon Stewart, Ellen DeGeneres, Billy Crystal, Whoopi Goldberg, Steve Martin, David Letterman and Chris Rock have all had a turn; several turns, in some cases.

This is seen as the Academy’s attempt to draw a larger viewing audience. Even before the nominations were announced, the extensive speculation as to how many award nominations ‘The Dark Knight’ would receive was coupled with assumption that many nominations might raise more interest in the telecast.

However, with today’s announcement, it is clear the battle is between Hollywood’s The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and Bollywood’s Slumdog Millionaire.

The Horsemen Trailer Video

Here is a new full length trailer for ‘The Horsemen’ starring Dennis Quaid and Ziyi Zhang. The horror movie opens in limited release in U.S. theaters on March 13, 2009. See photos and the movie trailer video here.

dennis quaid 2ziyi zhang 1

Dennis Quaid stars as Aidan Breslin an embittered, recently widowed detective who becomes emotionally estranged from his two young sons in his inability to cope with his wife’s untimely death. His investigations of serial killings lead him to discover a frightening connection between himself and the suspects whose murders appear to mimic Biblical prophecies from the Book of Revelations about the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse: War, Famine, Pestilence, and Death.

The trailer suggests a fascinating, but tense and unnerving movie from producer Michael Bey, who is also the producer of ‘The Unborn’ and ‘Friday the 13th’ (2009), for Platinum Dunes. It is the second feature film from Swedish director Jonas Akerlund, a noted music video director who has worked with Madonna, U2, Christina Aguilera, Maroon 5 and other top artists. His first feature was the 2002 movie ‘Spun.’ Screenwriter Dave Callaham previously penned ‘Doom’ and the forthcoming ‘Tell-Tale.’

Hollywood veteran Dennis Quaid appeared in Noam Murro’s comedy ‘Smart People’ with Sarah Jessica Parker, Ellen Page and Thomas Haden Church. He will appear in the highly anticipated summer movie G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, a screen adaptation of the iconic G.I. Joe action figure. Ziyi Zhang is a leading Chinese movie actress who received a Golden Globe Award nomination for her performance as Sayuri in the screen adaptation of Arthur Golden’s internationally bestselling novel ‘Memoirs of a Geisha.’ The movie also stars Clifton Collins Jr., Patrick Fugit, Eric Balfour, and Peter Stormare.

Here is the movie poster and photos from the movie. More photos and ‘The Horsemen’ trailer video are below.

Amber Heard Topless in ‘The Informers’

Hot actress Amber Heard is topless in her new movie ‘The Informers’. Her topless scenes also managed to make the unrated international version of the film’s trailer. Read the rest of the story and see photos and video of Amber Heard below.

Amber Heard

Yes, that’s right. Not only is Amber Heard topless in her new film, ‘The Informers’, but those scenes have made the unrated trailer. ‘The Informers’ just made its Sundance debut, and is a film loosely adapted from Bret Easton Ellis’ short-story collection of the same name. Unfortunately, the film has not been well received, even with the help of Amber’s boobs, and good supporting roles played by Kim Basinger and Chris Isaak.

Co-written by Ellis himself, the film is set in the debauchery of the Los Angeles of the 1980s, and all the drug-related depravity that came along with it. Also starring Billy Bob Thorton, Mickey Rourke, Brad Renfro, and Winona Ryder, the film was set for success, especially when you add in a topless Amber Heard along with scantily clad young stars Jon Foster and Austin Nichols. However, that appears to be all that was done right, as the film drags along and had viewers at Sundance asking “what’s the point” after sitting through it. Hardly the reception one would hope for.

Despite all the negative, there are boobs to be had! (For those of you who like that sort of thing). Right Cinema has a no-nudity policy, but you can go here to check out video and screen shot photos of Amber Heard and her goods. Your welcome.

Be sure to stick around and check out (clothed) photos and video of Amber Heard below.
