In town to promote his Crash series’ second season, actor Dennis Hopper has instead been hospitalized in New York with flu like symptoms. Read the story here.
Seventy-three year old Dennis Hopper has been admitted into the hospital after complaints of stomach pains. His symptoms are said to be flu-like but at this point not much else has been released regarding Hopper’s health. The location of which New York hospital Hopper was brought to has not been released to the public either.
Hopper is currently in town for several interviews to promote his TV series Crash. The show, airing on the Starz Network, is based on the 2004 movie of the same name and is in its second season. Hopper plays Ben Cendars, a music producer whose career could use a boost!
Entertainment Tonight stated that the veteran performer was:
“brought in by ambulance to the emergency room at a Manhattan hospital, wearing an oxygen mask and with numerous tubes visible.”
Dennis Hopper was scheduled to appear on the Today Show, The Associated Press and Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. I’m sure fans everywhere just hope Dennis Hopper makes a full recovery. As always we will keep you posted on the actor’s health.
