Actor Dylan Baker recently broke the news (if you call it that)at a Trick R’ Treat press conference at the Lincoln Center’s Walter Reade Theater about his plans to star in Spiderman 4.
Baker, who dropped a few hints, will reportedly return as either Doc Curt Connors , the Lizard or both. Details surrounding the movie are pretty scarce at this time but what we do know that Baker, Tobey McGuire and Kirsten Dunst will all be gracing the screen again for Spidey.
No one knows for sure but many web sites are speculating that producers of the film could possibly be ready to bring out the Lizard. Baker’s alter ego is definitely what fans have been waiting for and would love to see. The Thirteen Days actor did however remain quiet about details regarding his role (if he does in fact know) and what would happen if Spiderman’s arch enemy came to the big screen. At the point we don’t even know what the plot is going to be! Either way I’m looking forward to the upcoming flick
Spiderman 4 is scheduled to be released sometime in 2011 and will be directed by Sam Raimi whose credits include Grudge 2 and Thirty Days of Night. Writing th script will be both Steve Ditko and Stan Lee. Filming for the fourth film kicks off this coming March.

Ok one thing - Lizard is not “Spiderman’s arch enemy”!
That would be Venom or Green Gobs.

Personally, I’ve never liked the Spider-Man movies all that much. Yeah Spider-Man 2 was good but it wasn’t a good Spider-Man movie. They’re not true to the comic book at all.

The lizard will be as good as the green goblin and Doc OCK. Its unique as Peter Parker has a relationship with his uni professor and we get to see how Spiderman deals with that. But you could argue that its a repetive of the new goblin in some ways. Example: that someone spidey know turns bad guy. I believe there should be another villian that challenges spidy. Just the str things up.
