Actress Elizabeth Marvel is part of the upcoming western reboot True Grit that starred the famous John Wayne back in the day! The brunette actress will star alongside the all star cast of Matt Damon, Jeff Bridges and Josh Brolin in the role of Mattie Ross! Confused? Nope, Marvel isn’t replacing the up and coming actress Hailee Steinfeld.

She’s on board to play the older version of the young lady who hires on Tom Chaney to capture her father’s killer! True Grit is set for release on December 25th, Christmas Day! In the meantime get more on Elizabeth Marvel and check out the awesome trailer below!

As a biography Elizabeth Marvel, True Grit actress, was born on the 27th of November in the year 1969, she is forty-one years old and is a native of Los Angeles, California. Marvel has been acting for several years in theater, television and film.

You may have also seen the actress in the 2008 movie Burn After Reading as well the production of Synecdoche. Marvel has also been featured in Louisa May Alcott’s The Women behind the Little Woman, as well as The District, and the production of Seascape at the Booth Theater in New York.

Her additional credits include the TV series Nurse Jackie where she played the role of Ginny Flynn, the short Goldstar, Ohio, law and Order: Special Victims Unit, Holy Rollers, The Good Wife and Love and Other Impossible Pursuits. Recently she appeared in the TV show Past Life as the guest character Lynn Sampels.
