According to PerezHilton.com, Emma Watson is set to star in the upcoming revision of Cinderella. This version of the classic fairy tale will be a gothic musical film produced by Marilyn Manson, although it has yet to be revealed whether or not he will score or direct the musical. If an agreement is reached this will be the Harry Potter starlet’s first time appearing in anything other than the movie that launched her into stardom.
The young actress was the latest victim of a fashion malfunction when her skirt was hoisted up by the wind exposing her panties while at a red carpet event. Recently, while making an appearance on The Late Show, Watson, 19, candidly told talk show host David Letterman “At least I’m wearing Underwear” when she was asked about the incident. She then went on to say that it was just a “small wardrobe malfunction that happens”.

It would be awesome if it was true, but I thorougly doubt it is. She’s too busy filming Deathly Hallows and she’s going to college in the fall. So it doesn’t seem like she would have time to do something like this.

She will certainly make a very beautiful Cinderella - although this site doesn’t mention which role she will be playing, exactly! But, yeah, I think it is a very smart thing for her to do because, it will immediately break the goody-goody image that she has maintained since becoming famous (although, some recent, sexy photo shoots have also helped to do that because, some of them were stunningly hot; a whole new word needs to be invented to say how beautiful Emma was in those shoots) and, it will be a very good stretch as an actress: Emma is such a fantastic actress when she is at her best but, “Harry Potter” doesn’t often allow her to show us the extent of her talent! Good move!
