Canadian actor Eric Johnson appears to have a new gig in the TV series Copper. Johnson, who is previously known for his role as Flash Gordon, will play the role of Luke Callaghan.

The rookie cop drama, which originates from Canada, is being directed by Ilana Frank and Tassie Cameron. No word yet on when exactly the new show will air in 2010. We’ll keep you posted. In the meantime get more on Eric Johnson, Canadian actor, below.

As a biography Eric Johnson, Canadian Actor, was born on the 7th of August in the year 1979. Johnson was born in Edmonton, Canada and stands at 6′2″. The Canadian actor is now married to Adria Budd who he has one child with. Famous for his role as Whitney Port on the CW’s Smallville, Johnson played the boyfriend of Lana Lang for one season and returning for a few more episodes periodically.

In the start of his career, Johnson began in a guest rle in The Ray Bradbury Theater before moving on to be cast in the 1994 movie Road to Saddle River as Lance. Soon after Eric Johnson was working on the film Legends of the Fall as the younger on screen character of Brad Pitt, famously known as Triustan.

To date Eric has starred in such productions as the short lives tv series Flash Gordan, where Johnson himself as the leading title character. He has also appeared in Everest, The Unit, My Nanny’s Secret, and the Ghost Whisperer.
