Heath Ledger Nominated for a Golden Globe


The Nominees for the 2009 Golden Globe Awards have been announced! The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Doubt and Frost/Nixon scored a leading five nominations each, and actresses Meryl Streep and Kate Winslet both have two chances to take home individual awards.

The Golden Globes are always exciting, as they tend to be a harbinger of the upcoming Academy Awards. This year’s show also promises to be more entertaining than last years, as the writers guild was in the midst of their strike during the 2008 ceremony. The awards will be given out in Los Angeles on January 11, 2009.
