Most of us were excited to learn that hottie Ryan Reynolds was chosen to play the title character in the upcoming movie, and now it seems there will be a Green Lantern video game to go along with the film. Read more and check out photos and video here.
Green Lantern Star
The Green Lantern film is getting a ton of attention, especially with Ryan Reynolds chosen to play the character. Several reports have come out saying that Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has decided to create a video game based on the Green Lantern property, to be released alongside the movie.
The movie game combo is set to come out sometime in 2011. Double helix will handle the development duties. The Green Lantern video game will be available for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 gaming consoles.
Double Helix is currently working on another movie tie-in, G.I. Joe: The Rise of the Cobra, due out on August 4, for the Xbox 360, PS3, PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable.
Green Lantern is the next in a string of successful comic book movies such as Batman, Spiderman, Wolverine, and Iron Man.
