In a genius move from Friday Night Lights show runners, actor Grey Damon, who you may recognize from True Blood, has joined the ranks of the East Dillion High Lion’s football team. Now that FNL’s resident bad boy Taylor Kitsch is in the big house (and making a whole new string of movies), the series has recruited Grey Damon to play the role of a rebelious hippie who just doesn’t seem to care.

So where have you seen Damon before his new gig in the football loving series? As a bio, Grey Damon, Friday Night Lights actor, has been seen in 90210 where he played a minor role before being cast as a guest star in the TV series Lincoln Heights.

The twenty-something actor, whose date of birth is unknown, has also starred in the TV movie The Odds as Zach Klein, the ABC Family drama Greek, and the show 10 Things I Hate About You as the character Trey. More recently the actor has been featured in The Devil Within in the character role of John as well as the series The Whole Truth as Todd Engler.

I didn’t mind him as Hastings in that first episode. He’s obviously no Tim Riggins and we really shouldn’t be comparing the two but he’s not bad. I’ll definitely keep hoping good things for his character.

He may need to cool it in his interviews. He seemed a little too eager and disingenuous.
