“Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince”, according to reports, will not hit the IMAX theaters nationwide until two weeks after the movie’s release. Find out the venues where you can catch it and check out pictures and video here.
There’s bad news if you were looking forward to seeing “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” in IMAX on its opening night, unless you live in NY, LA, or Chicago. Otherwise, you have two choices either to buy a plane ticket or to wait two weeks after its initial release.
According to Perez Hilton, the people over at the “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” distribution office signed a deal where the Transformers movie will stay in IMAX theaters until July 29. The gossip site also reports that there are a few locations that are exempt from the deal, including: NYC’s AMC Loews Lincoln Square, LA’s Century City IMAX, and Chicago’s Henry Crown Space Center at the Museum of Science and Industry.
