‘Harry Potter’ theme park is set to open this spring and new details have just been released! Read about the Harry Potter theme park here!!
The highly anticipated ‘Harry Potter’ theme park is set for a Spring 2010 grand opening and new details, including a website have just been released!
The park called, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, will be 20 acres of magical fun for kids and adults alike.
Adults 21 and up can enjoy a Butterbeer at The Three Broomsticks, while everyone can enjoy Extendable Ears and eat “traditional British fare,” and pumpkin juice. Personally, I may go straight for the traditional food venues but the rest sounds like a plan!
One of the more exciting rides, the “Flight of the Hippogriff” is a “family coaster stimulating a Hippogriff training flight.”
Holding true to the Harry potter theme, the park has obtained the proper licensing from Warner Brothers, so it will look like scenes straight from the books and movies. The art director says they have tried to implement something from every book.
“We had free range to be as grand and as excessive as we could be. Only money that holds us back in the end.”
Only money, that will surely be made back as Harry Potter fans flock to the park to live in a fantasy world for a day – or more!
You can check out the new site for the park, which will likely be updated frequently as the opening date draws closer.
I for one am really excited. I live close to Orlando and the Universal Orlando resort is an enchanting place already. Everything is so magical and incredibly well done; I cannot wait to see this new addition!
