Heath Ledger will be dearly missed but it’s good to know that his 2-year old daughter Matilda Rose will be well taken care of. Ledger died of an accidental overdose before he could change his will but read on to see what the outcome was after all these months of court meetings. See more photos and video below.

According to Australian news reports, all of Heath Ledger’s estimated $20 million will go to his adorable, look-a-like, little girl Matilda Rose. His will initially left everything to his parents, Kim and Sally, and three sisters - Kate, Olivia and Ashleigh. His generous family stated that there will be no challenge and the family has given everything to Matilda.

It turns out even if Matilda doesn’t receive a thing from her father’s will, her future would still be secure. In Ledger’s last film ‘The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus,’ Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell and Jude Law finish his role as Tony. They were so concerned for Matilda that they donated all their earnings from the movie to her!

As for actress Michelle Williams, Matilda’s mother and Heath’s ex love, a year off from acting and a new hobby are on her calendar. Still grieving, she claims she has lost her creativity but gained a new perception on what is important in life.

“When I work again, maybe it should be a comedy. I’ve always had a tendency for darker, more life-like material. I think I had this sense that important things are heavier things. I don’t know if that’s true any more.” - Williams
