Holt McCallany will be portraying Patrick “Lights” Leary in FX’s new series Lights Out. The actor, who has been seen in Men of Honor and Fight Club, has taken on the lead role in the series as a former heavyweight who resorts to collecting gambling debts in order to make ends meet for his family.
Also scheduled to star in FX’s Lights Out is actors Stacy Keach, as the local gym owner, and Catherine McCormack, Lights wife. Looks pretty good so far? Get more on Holt McCallany below.
As a biography Holt McCallany, Lights Out actor, was born on September 3rd in 1964. Acting since the 80’s, McCallany has since gone on to star in a variety of television series and movie roles. Holt’s most notable work being in CSI: Miami as Detective John Hagen. He has also appeared in been seen in the TV series Freedom as the character Owen Decker.
In the earlier half of 2000 Holt started as Loomis in Below, Pat van Ranken in the recently deceased series Monk. McCallany has also been cast in The Kingdom of Ultimate Power, Underfunded as Breech, Medium and the TV series Criminal Minds. In addition you can also see Holt in Three Kings, Fight Club, Men of Honor, The Devils Advocate, Jade, Flirt and Star Wars: Demolition and Out of Line.
In 2007 he took roles in the sci-fi super series Heroes as Ricky, Vantage point and Law and Order: Criminal Intent. Most recently you can check out the Lights Out actor in Toxic as Van, Burn Notice and the Perfect Getaway as Police Lieutenant. In 2010 Holt will star in the movie productions entitled The Losers as well as Night and Day aside from his new role in the above mentioned series.
