“Inglourious Basterds” is an upcoming movie that was written and directed by Quentin Tarantino. It stars Brad Pitt as Lt. Aldo Raine alongside Melanie Laurent (Shosanna Dreyfus), Christoph Waltz (Col. Hans Landa), Eli Roth (Sgt. Donny Donowitz), Michael Fassbender (Lt. Archie Hicox), Diane Kruger (Bridget von Hammersmark), Daniel Bruhl (Fredrick Zoller), Til Schweiger (Sgt. Hugo Stiglitz), and Gedeon Burkhard (Cpl. Wilhelm Wicki).
The film revolves around “The Basterds,” who are a group of Jewish-American soldiers that are on a mission to terrify the Third Reich by brutally killing Nazis by any means necessary, sometimes going as far as to scalp them. The team soon comes across a French-Jewish girl in her teens who operates a movie theater in Paris, which comes under attack.
“Inglourious Basterds” was nominated for two Cannes Film Festival awards including Best Actor, Christoph Waltz (Won) and Golden Palm, Quentin Tarantino. With such a tremendous cast and legendary director, I don’t see how this film could turn out bad.
