Rachel Bilson’s guest appearance on the 100th episode of How I Met Your Mother has caused quite a stir among fans! Bilson will play a love interest (among many) of Ted’s.
The episode is scheduled to air at the midpoint of the season in January. When asked by TV Guide about Bilson as the possible mother in How I Met Your Mother, the show’s creator replied:
“Ted will also get as close to meeting the mom as he’s ever before,” creator Carter Bays announced. “I don’t want to give it away, but he gets so tantalizingly close, it’s ridiculous.”
The creators of How I Met Your Mother have also dished that casting the upcoming guest role was very important and difficult. Whether Bilson is the mother of Ted’s children or not, at least the 100th episode will bring us closer to the trut behind the four year mystery.
