The movie “Alpha Dog” based on murderer Jesse James Hollywood finally got its real life ending today. Hollywood was convicted of first-degree murder and kidnapping after a jury decided that he was the mastermind behind the death of 15-year-old Nicholas Markowitz’s back in August 2000.

He could face the death penalty.

Jesse James Hollywood Biography

As a bio, Jesse James Hollywood was born on January 28, 1980, to John (Jack) Hollywood and Laurie in L.A. Contrary to popular belief he was not named after the American outlaw, in fact he was actually named after his uncle.

As a teen he played for the El Camino Real High School baseball team where he reportedly began using workout supplements to get bigger and stronger. After throwing a tantrum his sophomore year at El Camino, he transferred to Calabasas High School where he participated in varsity baseball until injuring his knee leaving him with no other choice but to quit the sport.

According to Wiki, investigators suspect that he began selling heroin a year prior to killing Nicholas Markowitz.

Living as a fugitive Jesse James Hollywood relocated to Copacabana Beach, Brazil, where he lived under the alias “Miachael Costa Giroux” and claimed that he was originally from Rio de Janeiro. While living in Brazil he impregnated a woman named Marcia Reis, who gave birth to a son in August 2005. The FBI learned that Hollywood had plans to meet his cousin at the mall, and arrested the fugitive in Saquarema in March of 2005.

After facing trial accomplice Jesse Rugge received a life sentence, he is currently being held at Pleasant Valley State Prison, while William Skidmore served a 9-year sentence, being released in April 2009.
