Krysten Ritter is Confessions of a Shopaholic

“Confessions of a Shopaholic” releases February 13th, sounds like the perfect Valentine’s Day date movie. I don’t know how great the film will be, but Ritter plays the best friend of Isla Fisher, so the two together should at least make it entertaining.

Krysten Ritter Biography

Ritter was born in Pennsylvania and grew up on a farm. She credits her childhood for setting a solid foundation to survive in Hollywood.

“You don’t meet a whole lot of people in the biz with a background like mine. At least, I don’t. So I do think that makes me different? And I certainly have my feet on the ground and my head on straight because of it. Life on a farm is very basic and very humble.”

She was discovered while walking in a local mall and began modeling. Krysten had a successful career, using her 5′ 9″ measurements on the walkways in Paris, Milan and other major fashion cities. This led to some acting gigs, and she has scored many major roles, mostly comedic in nature.

Ritter’s most recent roles have been in “What Happens in Vegas” and “27 Dresses.” She’s also starred in the popular television shows “Veronica Mars,” “Gilmore Girls” and “Till Death.” Krysten is also a musician, playing in the New York City band Ex Vivian.
