Melanie Nicholls-King has joined the cast line-up of the Tassie Cameron directed Canadian drama ‘Copper’. In the soon to air series, Melanie Nicholls-King will portray Noelle Williams. Recently featured in a guest stint on The Wire, Melanie has also been seen in plenty of other TV and Movie roles. Get more on the London actress below.
As a biography Melanie Nicholls-King was born in London but raised in Trinidad and Canada. Nicholls-King started out in the acting business sometime in the early 90’s after graduating from the University of Windsor. A student at the The Playhouse Acting School in Vancouver, she first appeared in the TV series Street Justice in a two episode arc as Adrienne Howell. In 1993 the London Actress was cast in Guilty as Sin in the role of Rosalie.
As she continued to find roles, Melanie was featured in Skin Deep, Vow to Kill, Forever Night as Doctor Turner, and Closer and Closer. During 1998, Nicholls-King took on more work in the entertainment business in A Cool Dry Place as a Dallas Desk Clerk. In 2000 Melanie would finally hit her stride with the TV series Traders, cast as a regular. For eighteen episodes Melanie starred as Justine.
Her most recent work has been on the soap opera One Life to Live as Judge Avery Hansen, the TV series Cupid in a guest appearance, Chains, Law and Order: Special Victims Unit as Jill Boates and The Wire where the actress starred as Cheryl in over a dozen or so episodes.
