Mireille Urumuri had good news to share recently via Twitter – “My agent called me at lunch to announce me that I BOOKED #SMALLVILLE =D Thanks everyone for all your support, you are the BEST!!” No word on what character Mireille Urumuri will play but you can expect to see her in a guest spot this coming New Year. Fans of the series seem to be excited about a new face on board while others are talking about her possible stint as Vixen?

As a biography Mireille Urumuri, Canadian actress, was born in Canada. Urumuri’s date of birth is unknown. We do however know that Mirielle is in her mid to late twenties. She stands at 5’6” and is of African American and Caribbean decent. The Canadian actress has attended a handful of courses in order to improve her skills in the performing arts. Such as the Montreal School of Performing Arts, Debbie Podowsky’s Fundamentals of Acting and Branding the Actor.

To date Mireille has secured projects in film, television, commercials and theater. Some of the Canadian performer’s credits include Fringe in the role of August. She has also appeared in the 2009 movie ‘Chloe and Attie’ as well as Book of Wisdom, Mars to Jupiter and the Mandroid.

You may have also seen Mireille in commercials for such vendors as Kit Kat and Pepsi. When it comes to theater, Urumuri has starred in Bayswater Station as Khulindzee and One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest.

You can catch Mireille up next in the above mentioned unknown role on the CW’s Smallville sometime in 2010.
