Actress Odessa Rae has been cast as the villainous super evil character Siobhan McDougal, aka the Silver Banshee.




Rae’s on screen character will unexpectedly meet up with Lois and Clark while the couple stays at a bed and breakfast. An escapee from the underworld who is “a vengeful spirit of a fallen Gaelic heroine”, the silver banshee is scheduled to show up in the series episode number 16 titled ‘Escape’.

“Siobhan (pronounced Shee-Vaughn) McDougal wanted to take her birthright as the firstborn of the clan, but was distracted by her brother Bevan, so that mystic forces banished her to a netherworld where a Crone made her the Silver Banshee. The Banshee was commanded to retrieve a magical book sold by her uncle before she could revenge herself on her brother and uncle. Superman encountered her in Metropolis searching for the book, and needed the Martian Manhunter’s help to avoid being killed by her wail. A second time the Banshee appeared in Metropolis, leaving when Bevan appeared.”





As a biography Odessa Rae, Smallville actress, was born in Canada. Her exact date of birth is unknown. Fluent in five languages, Rae has been acting professionally since 2001. Odessa first debuted in the TV production called Club Land as the Blue Angel dancer. The following year she was cast in Pario Fiction before appearing in the 2004 movie by the name of Jenifa.

Since her start Odessa Rae, whose birth name is Jennifer Holmes, has guest starred in Chuck, the medical drama ER and the series Leverage as Cora McRory. Rae’s additional credits include the movie Ready or Not, Dead at 17, BTK as Heather and Let the Game Begin. This year Odessa will play a coin machine lady in The Man Without a Head.
