The “Potfest” movie is currently in the works, according to reports. Broken Lizard, the people who brought you “Beerfest” will be developing the flick. Read more about the story, while checking out pictures and a video here.
The Broken Lizard team first found a hit movie with “Beerfest,” and now they have decided to take on their next project “Potfest,” according to reports. The concept originally stemmed from a joke made by Will Nelson at the end of the film that is dedicated to the sweet joys of alcoholism. Watch the video below.
According to Broken Lizard, viewers of their first film were very curious as to whether or not “Potfest” was going to actually be made into a movie to the point that BL began taking the idea seriously. We must note that nothing is concrete, but it sure would be nice to add another worthy flick next to “Super Troopers,” “Super Troopers 2,” “Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle,” and “Pineapple Express” in the vice portion of my DVD collection.

They seriously should make potfest, But, being animated may seriously ruin the idea. It should be the same characters in the film, or atleast some of them, and a real film. NOT CARTOON

hey they need to make the movie all of us stoners need that movie to come out , we all love willie weather or not he has a problem with alcohol, or pot we still love him ,but thats besides the point that movie needs to be made but the thing is are they actually going to have people that actually smoke the green ganja?

They should really make this Potfest movie. Beerfest was a legend. Let’s make this one the same! Smoke Out! Make this movie. It’s gonna be a hit!

I really hope this movie is made. Everyone I know that absolutely loved Beerfest cannot wait for potfest. This movie would be huge, if they make it the same way Beerfest was. It needs to have the same feel and the characters that everyone fell in love with in Beerfest. Beerfest had a huge following and I believe Potfest will too.

People love pot movies. Even if it doesn’t sound right, high school to college kids LOVE seeing, talking about, and quoting stoner movies such Pineapple Express, Cheech and Chong, Half Baked, How High etc. Its funny!
