Comedian Rosie O’Donnell, partner Kelli Carpenter’s relationship has returned back to the spotlight. The two seperated almost two years ago and after all this time of working on their issues, O’Donnell has recently spoken out about her five year relationship again.

The two have apparently lived seperate for the last two years. The news was confirmed when Rosie spoke out on her Sirius Satellite radio show. Talking to a pet psychic, O’Donnell began to spill the beans after years of speculation.

“What happened [was] when Kelli moved out two years ago, I got the dog. Because I wanted another child or something to love. And I got the dog.”

Rosie O’Donnell and partner Kelli, are supposedly still close. The star stated that the former couple are still working as a team to rasie their children.

“We’re a family, we remain a family…. Kelli and I love each other very much, and we are working on our issues. Those are the only words I am ever going to say. Ever. And that is something that has been agreed upon by all parties.”

Although the news is not a surprise, I believe it is the first time we have heard O’Donnell really speak out and confirm that they are not a couple. Previously the star, who has also grabbed headlines for her heated feuds with Donald Trump a hile back, denied all of the gossip as well as her reps.
