Ryan Reynolds is one hot commodity these days who is proving that he can take on any role across the board! From star of the Green Lantern as Hal Jordan to comedies like The Proposal with co-star Sandra Bullock, Reynolds is now tied to an untitled romantic comedy that will place him in drag!
His new movie role, created just for him, will be written by Allan Loeb. The storyline places Reynolds in the role of a “jilted lover” who is so desperate to win his ex back that he decides to hide his real identity by cross dressing in an effort to get close to her.
The movie, purchased by Working Title for a reported $1 million, will be produced by Eric Fellner, Tim Bevan, Jonathon Komack Martin and Steven Pearl. Set to executive produce and dress in drag will be Reynolds, Liz Chasin and script writer Allan Loeb whose work includes 21 and Things We Lost In a Fire.
Ryan Reynolds has previously been seen in comedies such as Waiting, Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle, National Lampoon’s Van Wilder and The In-Laws.
