The Daily Show’s correspondent Samantha Bee can be seen in her latest role, Motherhood. The Katherine Dieckmann directed film also features Anthony Edwards and Minnie Driver.
As a biography Samantha Jamie Bee was born in 1969 in Toronto, Canada. Bee is a graduate from the University of Ottawa and the George Brown Theatre School. She is Canada’s 2005 Pretty Funny Female of the Year.
Samantha Bee, similar to most actors, waited tables when she first started out looking for work as an actress. She has since appeared in Two Families, Underdog, The Love Guru and Whatever Works. Bee’s guest appearances include FX’s Rescue Me, Love Monkey, Ham I Am and Not This But This. Samantha can also be seen in the upcoming 2010 movies, Fury Vengeance and Date Night.
Currently Samantha Bee can also be seen sharing her womanly and intelligent thoughts in “Love, Loss, and What I Wore”. The show is a round table of talk over issues of the clothing, the heart and more. Other actors and comedians feautured alongside Bee is Rosie O’Donnell, Tyne Daly, Katie Finneran and Natasha Lyonne.
