Neve Campbell has reportedly agreed to return in the fourth Scream movie. Previously sources were reporting that Campbell refused to return via Twitter, leaving screenwriter Kevin Williamson in a sticky situation. Now after months in limbo Campbell has apparently changed her mind!
The Canadian actress has decided she will return to her role as Sidney Prescott, the tortured soul who lives day after day with a Ghostface serial killer on the loose.
Scream 4 is scheduled to be released in 2010 with Kevin Williamson writing the screen play. Whether Wes Craven will be directing is still on the table! Also on board the horror flick will be famous Hollywood couple Courteney Cox and David Arquette. The duo have appeared alongside Neve Campbell in the last three Scream movies as Gale Weathers and Deputy ‘Dewey’ Riley.
Scream 4 will be filming sometime next Spring and will be executive produced by both Bob Weinstein and Harvey Weinstein.
