The Edge of Darkness, starring Mel Gibson and Shawn Roberts, is due in theaters on the 29th of January. The crime flick was directed by Martin Campbell and was penned by William Monahan and Andrew Bovell.

As a biography Shawn Roberts, The Edge of Darkness Actor, was born in 1984 in Stratford, located in Ontario, Canada. Roberts began acting in his earlier years when he was in school. When he pursued his professional career the dark featured actor secured small roles in Sirens, Goosebumps and La Femme Nikita.
In 2000, Roberts appeared in ‘Twice in a Lifetime’ as the young Buzzy Walsh before taking roles in Animorphs, X-Men, The Growing Pains Movie and Get over It as Colin. His additional roles on the small screen include guest stints on Earth: Final Conflict. Roberts also appeared in twenty-three episodes of Emily of New Moon as Teddy Kent, Mrs. Asheboro’s Cat, Fallen Angel and Thralls as Jim.
Most recently he has found work in Wild Roses as Foster, Psych, the movie ‘I Love You Beth Cooper’, the CW series Supernatural, Flashpoint and Black Rain. This New Year, Roberts has a few roles lined up in some great projects like The Edge of Darkness, Resident Evil and The Riot.
