The rumors that swirled yesterday regarding Shia LaBeouf and his pinky finger are false. He will not need to have his finger removed after all, despite internet reports that he might.

The accident that Shia Labeouf was in last month did quite a bit of damage to his left hand. He underwent reconstructive surgery for what doctors deemed as a crushed hand. What was he doing with that hand? Sticking it out the window when he flipped over?
Luckily, after a 2 hour surgery, Shia’s hand seems to be on the road to recovery. Doctors shot down reports that he was facing an amputation of his pinky finger after the news broke yesterday. If you see pictures of him wearing his cast, his pinky isn’t even in the cast!
Due to his injury, production of Transformers 2 - which also stars Megan Fox, has been slowed. Not stalled, because director Michael Bay is trying to work around the incident. Can’t they just write a cast in to the script? Digitally remove it? They are spending tens of millions of dollars on CGI anyway, it seems like a little cast would hardly stop them! Get well soon, Shia.
