A Smallville movie is on the way! The two-hour special, entitled ‘Smallville: Society and Legends’ will air on February 5, 2010 on The CW. Get the details on Clark Kent and the expected line up of superheroes here.
The Smallville movie will feature the likes of famed DC superheroes Stargirl, Hawkman, possibly Martian Manhunter and Dr. Fate.
Smallville Society and Legends was penned by genius DC Comics writer Geoff Johns, who I had the pleasure of interviewing last year. Great guy! Johns is definitely the man for the job and is sure to bring the superheroes and the Smallville gang together for a fanatastic two hour blow out!
Not much regarding the Smallville movie plot has been released. The series is currently in its ninth season, hopefully with a tenth on the way. Right now Clark Kent is experimenting with his identity while he fights crime in Metropolis and tries to resolve the Kandorian dilemma with his sidekick Chloe, and the occasional help from superheroes that make guest appearances. Recently the show featured the Wonder Twins, Zan and Jayna.
