Now back to Sundance Film Festival 2010…….
Backed by veteran actor Robert Redford, Sundance is returning to its roots. Redford spoke out yesterday about his mission to get back to the festival’s “fresh and new” fashion from previous years. So far the most talked about film was ‘HOWL’ by Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman.
Audiences “will sense the risk the filmmaker took to tell that story and how important it was to get a certain new truth out,” Redford stated about this year’s event.
Other Indie flicks that are creating buzz across the blogs include Frozen, Splice and 7 Days. A few of the independent films on my list include Lucky, Jack Goes Boating and The Pitch, to name a few.
