Twilight star Taylor Lautner has begun filming on the set of his latest movie entitled Abduction. The movie, which will be helmed by director John Singleton of 2 Fast 2 Furious fame, is a “thriller, centered on a young man (played by Lautner) who sets out to uncover the truth about his life after finding his baby photo on a missing person’s website.”
Seen playing football on the set as well as riding his motorcycle and talking to fans, Lautner is currently on location in Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania. Excited about the script Lautner spoke to MovieHole.com recently about his new role, one that unfortunately made it impossible for him to be a part of X Men: First Class.
“I think it’s the story that comes with the action. Abduction actually has an interesting story. It’s about a high school senior who finds a picture of himself on a missing persons’ web site only to realize that his whole life, for 18 years, has been a lie. It can’t be nonsense action. The action has to make sense and have a story behind it. I’m super-excited to get going on that. I start in three weeks.”

Aside from Taylor Lautner In Abduction you can also expect to see a cast line up of veteran actress Sigourney Weaver in the role of Dr. Bennett, Maria Bello as Mara, Jason Isaacs as Kevin, Lily Collins in the role of Karen, Alfred Molina, Elisabeth Rohm, and Michael Nyqvist.
