‘The Losers’ Trailer Video has been revealed. Watch it below and get details on the DC adapted movie’s release date, plot and cast.
A sneak peek of The Losers, starring Avatar’s Zoe Saldana and Jeffrey Dean Morgan of Grey’s Anatomy, has been dropped to the web for fans to see.
Directed by Sylvain White, the action movie also stars Chris Evans as Jensen, aka The Hacker. Actor Palyin Roque, second in charge of the crew, is Idris Elba. Jason Patric has been cast as Max the mastermind while
Columbus Short plays Pooch. Saldana and Morgan are both in lead roles as Aisha, the ticking time bomb, and Colonel Franklin Clay.
The Losers Official Plot – “Action Thriller. An explosive tale of double cross and revenge, “The Losers” centers upon the members of an elite U.S. Special Forces unit sent into the Bolivian jungle on a search and destroy mission. The team-Clay, Jensen, Roque, Pooch and Cougar -find themselves the target of a lethal betrayal instigated from inside by a powerful enemy known only as Max. Presumed dead, the group makes plans to even the score when they’re joined by the mysterious Aisha, a beautiful operative with her own agenda. Working together, they must remain deep undercover while tracking the heavily-guarded Max, a ruthless man bent on embroiling the world in a new high-tech global war.”
Sounds pretty good right? I’m always up for a good action flick, especially ones based on DC comics, but somehow I think this isn’t going to be what fans are looking for. I hope I’m wrong!
Filmed in Puerto Rico, the script comes from Friday Night Lights’ Peter Berg and James Vanderbilt of Zodiac. Expect to see The Losers on the big screen April 9th, 2010.
