Get ready, yall! Titanic is set to make another splash on the big screen, and this time it will be in 3-D! Can you handle it?

At Comic-Con in San Diego, James Cameron confirmed that he is working on converting Titanic into a 3-D adventure. James says it will take approximately 12 to 14 months to convert the entire movie. He said that he has seen a few minutes of footage and describes it as “spectacular.”

What do yall think of this? I’ve never seen a 3-D movie in the theater, so I’m not sure what to make of it. While I think there are definitely some scenes that would be interesting to experience in 3-D, I’m not sure how the movie overall will do - is there enough to turn into a 3-D experience? Maybe I’m just missing something because I’m not on the 3-D bandwagon…

I do absolutely LOVE the movie Titanic, though. I always get sucked into the whole long saga whenever I find it on television, and writing this has made me jones to see the movie pretty badly. It would be difficult to avoid watching it on the big screen, even if I had to deal with the 3-D aspect - those glasses tend to give me a headache. Wait… do you wear those glasses in a 3-D theater experience? Would yall pay to go out and see Titanic on the big screen in 3-D?
