Uma Thurman has joined the forthcoming movie Ceremony. Get the details on Thurman’s new role in the film here!
It looks like Uma Thurman is in fact following through with those plans to be “slightly selfish”! Great news for fans everywhere!
After focusing on her children throughout their younger years, Uma Thurman has decided to kick her acting career back into high gear with Ceremony!
In a recent interview, Uma expressed her difficulties with growing older, life getting harder and her career!
“I am a mother, but I need to do what I’m good at doing. Even your kids need you to be who you are. I’ve been living at home for work for a long time. If I don’t leave soon, I’m going to literally choke my career to death.”
Similar to the likes of Uma’s previous role in Prime, Ceremony finds Thurman as an older, beautiful woman who catches the eye of a younger man. The only problem is that Thurman’s character is supposed to be getting married! Starring alongside Uma will be Michael Angarano.
Ceremony will be directed by Max Winkler and Nala Films’ Darlene Caamano Loquet. Set to produce will be Emilio Diez Barroso, Polly Cohen Johnsen and Matt Spicer. Ceremony will begin filming on October 21st in Long Island.
