The Vampires Suck movie trailer video has been released and it’s generating some serious NEGATIVE buzz! Will Twilight fans want to see this spoof mocking Bella, Edward and Jacob? The web is full of angry fans out for blood. Get a load of what’s to come in the Vampires Suck comedy from Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer and see what all the talk is about. Video after the jump.
Directors, and writers, Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer are at it again! The Date Movie duo have released the official Vampires Suck movie trailer video to the web for all to see in promotion of the comedy’s release to theaters on August 18th!
Friedberg and Seltzer, who are also responsible for such comedies as Epic Movie, Scary Movie and Meet the Spartans, have cast round of fresh faces to play the part of the spoof’s lead character Becca (similar to Bella) and the two boys (Twilight’s Edward and Jacob) she is torn between! Vampires Suck will reportedly be an array of the most notable scenes of the Stephanie Meyer adapted novel such as Jasper’s thirst for Bella’s blood, the pack of wolves from New Moon, Edward and Jacob’s rivarlry, the prom and more twisted into joke after joke.
Scheduled to appear will be actors Ken Jeong, Matt Lanter, actress Jenn Proske as Becca, Bradley Dodds, Nike Mayhall, Matthew Warrel, Emily Bobst, and Waetah Walmsley.
A Twilight fan myself, I think the upcoming comedy could be funny if done right. I guess that will depend upon other people’s sense of humor and opinions though. I love twilight. The books are amazing and the movies are great, but this looks totally hilarious. Cant wait to see it.

Not all vampire shows/movies suck, but everything in this saga after the first book ‘Twilight’ required straws. So…I welcome this spoof movie for a good laugh. After all, they may not turn the disaster that was ‘Breaking Dawn’ into a movie so I have to get my jollies somewhere…

P.S., Bela Lugosi… I hate to break it to you, but vampires aren’t real. and the only vampire in a GOOD vampire novel (Bram Stoker’s Dracula) was unharmed by sunlight. Just sayin’…

i personally like the twilight saga..im not obsessed though and i think this spoof will be absolutely hilarious..i cant wait to see it. anyone with a good sense of humor should see it.

seriously bela lugosi, get a gip. vampires ARENT real so however they appear in a book or movie is completely up to the writer and their imagination

I’ll admit its funny but twilight is better, But WHY THE HELL do they have lady gaga. And it humiliates Jasper. Besides teens can have their own opinions.

Very funny! Kudos to Jenn Proske for a well crafted tongue-in-cheek, lip biting portrayal of Bella. Not bad for her first time at bat…no pun intended.
