Already in production in Toronto, the producers have added Wentworth Miller to the cast list! Miller is set to play Chris Redfield in Resident Evil’s fourth installment.
Wentworth Miller’s character, Redfield, is the brother of Claire Redfield who is played by Heroes star Ali Larter. Also on board will be the usual cast of Milla Jovovich, as Alice, and Spencer Locke as K-Mart. ‘Resident Evil: Afterlife’ is the fourth flick in the series and will focus on Alice’s mission to stop a virus invented by the Umbrella Corp. that theatens to kill off the human race.
Resident’s usual director Paul W.S. Anderson will of course be present and wearing many hats as he writes and produces the much awaited film. In the producer’s chairs will be Jeremy Bolt, Bernd Eichinger, Robert Kulzer, Don Carmody and Samuel Hadida. Martin Moszkowicz and Victor Hadida have signed on to co-produce the project.
You can look for Resident Evil: Afterlife to hit theaters in 3D sometime in the Fall of 2010.
