Alexie Gilmore
Alexie Gilmore was born in 1976, which makes her age 32. She lived in Manhattan until age 10 when her family moved to New Jersey. She attended Tenafly high school and then went to DeSales University in Pennsylvania. She describes herself as a good kid growing up who loved movies.
“I never got into any trouble when I was a kid. We just went to see movies and went to get ice cream. We would maybe go to the Tenafly Diner and just talk about the movies we saw.”
Her acting career started with a Talbot’s commercial and led to movies like “I Do & I Don’t,” “Definitely, Maybe” and “Surfer Dude” with McConaughey. It is due out later this year. Gilmore has also starred in several television shows including “Rescue Me,” “Law & Order: Criminal Intent,” “Hope & Faith” and “New Amsterdam”. Her next project is an indie film with Robin Williams called “World’s Greatest Dad.”
The film has an interesting plot about Lance, a “high school poetry teacher (Williams) who copes with his son’s death from a freak masturbation accident by faking a suicide note to spare the family shame.” Gilmore plays Claire, a fellow teacher who has an affair with Lance. This movie just started filming Tuesday in Seattle.
